5 Mistakes To Avoid When You Have A Custom Photo Blanket Designed For Your Family

Blog

Custom photo blankets are a great idea for families looking to cuddle up in loved ones and great memories. However, there are a few mistakes that it's important to avoid to make the most out of your blanket of good memories.

The following are five mistakes to avoid when you have a custom photo blanket designed to maximize the comfort that your family's creation provides.

1. Being unaware of the difference that material choices will make

You should know that a plush photo blanket is going to look significantly different from a regular fleece blanket.

A plush blanket is not going to offer as much resolution or detail in the images it presents as a regular fleece blanket. At the same time, a plush blanket is probably going to offer more comfort than a regular fleece blanket will provide.

When deciding between plush and fleece, you need to determine whether comfort or image quality is more important for you.

2. Not carefully partitioning space

If you're having images of your kids put on a family blanket, you need to make sure that each kid gets an equal share of space on the blanket. Otherwise, you're never going to hear the end of it.

Try to make your blanket design scientific and ensure that each kid appears an equal number of times over an equal amount of space.

3. Failing to take advantage of the other side

If you're getting a custom photo blanket made, you should also know that you can have images put on both sides of the blanket.

This allows you to include more images in the blanket and also makes the blanket reversible. If you've had the blanket down on one side for a while and want to change things up, you can simply flip it over to enjoy a different design and other photos for a while.

4. Submitting unedited photos

A little editing could go a long way in improving the end result for your photo blanket. Make sure you do small things like edit out red eyes and crop appropriately to get the best results in your images.

5. Failing to inspect all of your photos

It's important to carefully review your entire photo collection to make sure you're putting the best images you have into your blanket. You want to be patient and look through your entire album so that you don't have any regrets later about your blanket design.

Learning About Printing Services

Hello, I am Maeve Boyle. The success of my business relies on my ability to spread the word about products and services I provide. I have found that the best way to tell the community about my business is through direct mail flyers. I design all of the flyers on my computer and have them created by a local printing company. The printing company allows me to pick the paper weight and finish used for the completed advertising materials. I like to pick a paper type with a texture and finish that people gravitate towards. I will talk about all of the different types of paper and inks used in the printing process. I hope you will use the information on my site to secure flyer prints for your business. Thanks.
